- Mbuya, friends! I didn’t have the heart to ditch my old blog name after the Peace Corps, so I’ve just updated the title. I am now in Kenya, working with Nuru International. We are a grassroots non-profit working on the community level to end extreme poverty. I am program manager of the Community Economic Development program (CED) for Foundation Team 3. I will try to post short entries regularly, focusing on what’s going on in the field. The Nuru website will undergo a makeover in Oct, at which point I will be updating my program’s page every week instead.
